She smiles and laughs 

and acts as if she's okay

but inside she's fighting

she just wants to get away

away from trouble

the pain and thoughts

like her life would

never be the same

all  of these unspoken words

swirling around her head

she wants to end it all

but she laughs it off instead

she was tired of being hurt,

of being left alone

she just wants to disappear

from the face of the earth

so she takes a long sigh

as she closes her eyes

and calls it a night;

goodnight.
